1/4 sheet watercolor, number 19 in the 20 project. It's hard to paint a black cat. Gilbert was good not to move during the course of the painting.

You captured a black cat well few people realize that black is best shown in shades of gray.
fastastic paintings. you've created an amazing collection in such a short period of time. i'm inspired by your getting 20 done in 20-ish days (including the grace-day)! :-) i've enjoyed looking back at them all.
