challenge 138--something soft

Here is our other new kitten, Snickers, who has the softest fur. Today she rested on the swing with me, perhaps feeling resigned to having to wear a harness outside so we can catch her when she runs off. This is on a pre-painted page, and it does not capture her true colors. The proportions are off a bit, too. I also sketched her as she stalked various fierce insects in the yard.

WONDERFUL JOB, Linda!!!! I used to use those kinds of harnesses on my children whenever we went anywhere there were crowds -- they love to run away! Love the softness of this!

Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving such nice comments. Please don't feel the need to be gentle with me. I know people have different views and that doesn't bother me. I understand though why you did it that way and I appreciate it. I also appreciate hearing from someone who has family members serving. I hope your son gets back healthy and well. I have to tell you that I love this sketch. We have a cat, too, and I can just feel the softness of the fur. The posture looks very natural and relaxed, so you did wonderfully with this! A harness is a great idea. We try to keep our boy inside, but sometimes he just begs to go out and then one of us always goes with him, but he can be very fast! Great work!

thanks for visiting my blog...I really like your cat sketches (surprise, surprise!) I just bought Sagis a harness and leash, but I intend to use it when we make the big move from Arizona to Oregon in May... I wanted Sagis to start getting used to it now. He lets me put it on and he gets a treat afterwards. He doesn't much like the way it feels on, though.
Keep up the great sketches!
