How crazy it is to have grabbed my sketchbook for the inevitable wait in the ER? I'm glad I had it, though.

Hi Linda...it's not crazy at ALL, it not only helps pass the inevitable hours of waiting but I think it helps us deal with the anxiety and focus on something else. I certainly had my sketchbook with me when I had my surgeries last summer, and when I went to the emergency room, too!
That's a beautiful drawing, and one you'll treasure...
Linda, thanks for your comment on my blog. Sagis does indeed live in my blog, though it seems he does his fair share of sleeping in it!!! Sorry to hear you are spending so much time at the hospita. I hope all is well, or getting better, atleast!
Aren't you glad you had your sketchbook with you! I got hooked on my Moleskine last year when I unexpectedly ended up in the hospital, and just HAPPENED to still have it in my bag from my first public sketching venture two days earlier. Now I never travel anywhere without it! :-) Great drawing -- you have an eloquent line.
